Card Services - Debit Card Purchase Alerts
With a free service offered by Visa, you can receive text or email notifications for debit card
transactions that meet certain criteria. Enrollment is easy:
- You set up an account
- Enroll a card or cards
- Pick the settings you want
- Choose how you want to receive the notifications
Receiving these alerts will help you stay informed of unusual activity on your card so you can
notify us right away of suspected fraudulent transactions.
- Receive purchase alerts for activity such as:
- When a card purchase meets or exceeds a dollar amount of your choice
- When your card is used outside of the United States
- When a card purchase is made online or by phone

Card Services - Visa Account Updater
Save your Peoples Trust Company Visa Check Card for things like bill payments and online purchases. Your payment information is automatically updated by us when your card is re-issued or renewed with a new expiration date.*
That means you can often:
- Skip the hassles of updating your payment info
- Avoid declined payments and service interruptions

*Not all merchants participate in automatic updates, so you may need to contact some merchants directly. If your card is lost or stolen and a new number is issued, updates are not automatically sent.

When contacting us, include your name, the last six digits of your card number, and the card’s current expiration date.

Transfers made before 5:00 PM on a business day are processed the same day.

Ordering checks online is safe, secure, and easy - without having to come into a branch. With Main Street Checks, you can order from a full catalog of checks and related products available for your account. All purchases will be debited from your checking account automatically.

Overdraft Protection
Life Happens. Peoples Trust Company understands that unexpected overdrafts occur from time to time - Overdraft Coverage can help.
We have two options you may want to consider:
- Overdraft Protection services apply to all transactions and may help prevent overdrafts by automatically transferring funds to your checking account from another account you may have at Peoples Trust Company for a fee.
- Overdraft Privilege allows you to overdraw your account up to the disclosed limit for a fee in order to pay a transaction.
